He felt his miserable life was not worth living—
crawling around on the ground worrying about getting stepped on.
One day he gets picked up by a fisherman about to use him for bait.
He wiggles out of the boat and is swept down river to a waterfall.
Flying through the air, he sprouts wings and morphs into a butterfly.
One morning while having breakfast of nectar on a hibiscus flower,
he sees his pot-bellied uncle still shlepping along on the ground.
He shouts out to him: “Stop wasting your one and only life—
hurry up and molt into the chrysalis you were meant to be
and join me in the fantastic life of a butterfly!”
