Every moment offers itself
in its own unique way.
The practice of meditation,
takes time out to do nothing,
except monitor monkey chatter
in your head.
As you detach from all thought,
become aware of letting go
of tension in your shoulders,
shallowness of your breath.
Feel the softness of your face and
unclenched Jaw as breathing slows
and deepens until breathing happens
effortlessly. After completing a glimpse
into nothingness you have earned
a place in the religion the Dalai Lama
calls “Kindness.”
